The CPA is an organisation created to bring together and channel the wealth of expertise in the subject of Compulsory Purchase and Compensation, to promote this important area of work and to foster a basis for best practice. In doing so it not only provides a sounding board for change in this sphere but makes comment and provides recommendations relating to relevant Law Commission, government department and other Reports and existing /proposed Legislation. As an important adjunct it promotes training initiatives together with opportunities for those in CPO professions to network and share experience and knowledge.
InCoventry.com - Coventry
Portal
InCoventry.com is a newly built site (April 2004) for the local Coventry community,
with many features including user entry of news articles, gallery images, user
submitted events and other content such as famous quotes. This site has managed
banners for advertisers, a comprehensive member forum, plus a number of newly
introduced facilities for visitors to use. The business directory contains nearly
15000 entries at present and is completely searchable.
Flight
Mapping.com
A large flights portal with many features including a members' forum, live
news feeds, surveys and up to date information on airports and flight routes.
There is extensive information available for flight links, airports, travel
destinations, along with well documented tips, hints and users' experiences.

HeardThis.com
Student accommodation, books and jokes portal with an e-comerce feature allowing
for the insertion of paid adverts. Payment processing is with
PayPal and the site is fully automated, requiring very little maintenance
(undertaken in partnership with Jim Saxton at Saxton
IT).
Other Portal Web Sites
Gay Guy UK (Adult Site - Currently Offline)
Gay community portal site, totally dynamic with a vast range of interactive
features. Classified adverts, forum, chat, message boards, "Pic-of-the-Day",
polls, news, events and more. The site has over 20,000 members (date of February
2003). This site also has a paid membership area (The
Executive Lounge) where
members can upload photos for their own gallery and design their own web pages
online, with WYSIWYG editor. (Work undertaken for Points
Ltd 2002/2003.)
